A small journal for humanities scholarship
Context — Journal of the Humanities is an open-access academic humanities journal. Context publishes scholarship and related humanities work with attention to archives, texts, material culture, bibliography, place, memory, and information systems.
Its areas of interest include Oscar Wilde, LGBT history, Sarasota history, queer bibliography, critical information literacy, and the history of the book, alongside related humanities subjects.
The journal is currently being developed around Volume 1 · 2026, Issue 1. This staging site represents the journal’s developing publication structure and reading experience.
